Hit Point Press is excited to announce the launch of Humblewood: Beyond the Canopy, a standalone sequel to the beloved Humblewood Campaign Setting. 

Return to the magical world of Everden, where animal and birdfolk live, explore, and adventure. Humblewood: Beyond the Canopy takes you past the edges of the Wood to discover the continent of Wesden through a lush setting guide and globe-trotting adventure. 

Uncover frozen mysteries in the Crystal Expanse, ride the mighty gargaths across the plains of Firnveldt, find a warm welcome in warrens away from the tempests that shake Stormcrag, and feel the pulse of nature in the verdant Tanglewilds.

This 250+ page sourcebook does not require the original Humblewood Campaign Setting to play, but seasoned Humblewood players can easily continue their adventure from the first book. Humblewood: Beyond the Canopy will be compatible with the 5e (2014) core rules with support for 5e+ (2024) core rules.

Inside, you can find a setting guide to the continent of Wesden with four new regions to explore and a new religion section with new gods and folktales, expanded player options including new races, subclasses, backgrounds, and spells, and an original adventure that takes characters from level 5 to level 8.

Venture out into the continent of Wesden to find:

• 4 new areas: the icy Crystal Expanse, grassy Firnveld, mountainous Stormcrag, and the jungle Tanglewilds 
• 6 new Amaranthines with new myths about the gods and how they are viewed in the world of Humblewood
• 1 new class: the gadgeteer, offering a new take on artificing with a flexible system of gadget crafting
• 3 additional subclasses: the wrangler monk, oath of mysteries paladin, and deep roots sorcerer
• 6 playable races: the goat-like Capran, the cat-like Eluran, the stoat-like Mustel, the parrot-like Seeta, the hummingbird-like Sylph, and the gecko-like Tilia 
• 2 new subraces that add pangolin and armadillo–based options for Hedge characters, and chinchilla-inspired options for Jerbeen characters
• 4 new backgrounds, 10 new spells, 40+ monster and NPC stat blocks ranging in CR
• An original adventure for levels 5 to 8, taking you on a wild chase across the entire continent of Wesden
• Stunning art from talented artists from the first book, and artists new to the world of Everden
• No AI
